James Solero of Pasay Voyagers have decided to make some good use of his free time during pandemic while all of the basketball practice and matches were called off due to the alarming number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
On his interview with GMA 24 Oras, the 6 foot 1 small forward player said that just like other people, he can not afford to lose a source of income especially during this time.
And now, Solero is applied on a famous online deliver app and waits in front of several food chains to have the food delivered right in front of the costumer’s place.
Soler shared that he sometimes gets 20 delivers a day and usually roams around Makati, which is much closer to his home.
Solero confessed that some people actually recognizes him and even some of his customers were actually his fans.
“Nagugulat sila kung paano daw po ako nakapasok sa ganito,” he said.
But the athlete said that he never felt ashamed on his new found line of job because this is what keeps his family sustained.
Growing up in a not so well off family, Solero said jobs like this is not really strange to him at all.
The player also said that he is considering on continuing his delivery job even after the quarantine period.
